ABOUT

In 2015 Danny Tableman and Jay Austin got together for a let loose-n-have fun jam and the initial chemistry was undeniable. At the time, both were looking to start a new collaboration after perfecting their chops over several years with other regionally successful bands. The rebellion that would-be Revolution-X had begun. Original Drummer Josh Stage helped create both the “Burning Empire EP” and “R-Evolution” albums. When Vocalist Dan Swanson was brought in, the line-up was complete. Parting ways with Drummer Josh Stage after two years was tough but new drummer Scott Wallace had the chops to keep the bus rolling and continue the evolution. The chemistry of four unique styles coming together to create our own sound is undeniable. When four become one, the revolution has begun.

I started as singer/bassist in the death metal band Dark Lore. Due to personal/creative differences, we parted ways and I joined forces with the popular local band Anshar. After eight years of extensive playing, regional radio play, and opening for acts such as Machine Head, the band dissipated. After taking a hiatus I started playing with a band based out of Janesville Wisconsin, Five Star Ruin. We opened for acts such as Jackyl, Jake E. Lees' Red Dragon Cartel, Soil, and Bobaflex before disbanding due to personal differences. Looking to expand creatively I reached out to Danny Tableman, formerly of Fists of Rage, with an interest to start something new. Here we are...

I have been playing guitar since the 3rd grade. Since then I have loved music and in particular, the sound of the guitar. I use an 80's Charvel with a lava crackle paint job, a George Lynch Kami, and a George Lynch Mr. G. My fav is my Mr. G! My band was the hard rock/metal group Fists of Rage. I was looking to start something new and found it with Revolution-X. Other influences include: Mostly Water, Jake E. Lee, Megadeth, Skid Row, Treble Chefs, Warrant, Nuno Bettencourt, C.C. DeVille, Mötley Crüe, Cinderella, Pantera, Missing Links, Dokken, Iron Maiden, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Slayer, RATT, Lynch Mob, Los Angeles, L.A. Guns, Anthrax, Metallica, Megadeth, Stevie Ray Vaughan.

I have been playing drums for as long as I can remember. From banging on pots and pans in the kitchen as a toddler to banging on my Dads kit onstage after a gig. My father made me earn my first kit in early grade school by learning how to read sheet music. Every song I learned earned me a new piece to my kit. Music has been an integral part of who I am and has driven me throughout life. I grew up playing percussion in school. I played jazz, prep, and marching bands. I even performed in show choir. In high school I joined a band with my friends which only re-instilled my desire & love to perform. I majored in percussion in college and played with various bands over the years. I joined the Rev-X crew in July 2018 and am currently enjoying my true passion in life.....drumming.

I've been singing for as long as I can remember. Musical influences were varied as I grew up listening to contemporary country music with my Mom, classic rock and blues with my Dad, and traditional country music and classical music with my grandparents. I was involved in singing and performing during my time in secondary school while starting to find my muse: rock and metal. To develop my sound, I worked karaoke bars and open Jam sessions before joining the cover band Structured Insanity. The dearth of opportunities to be creative and develop my own music resulted in a general lack of interest in continuing. I auditioned with Revolution-X and everything instantly clicked. The creativity and pure kick-ass talent of Revolution-X has allowed me to write and collaborate with a truly innovative band family.
